Welcome to Jewel House West in Sedona!  We are honored you have chosen our vacation home for your visit to. We have assembled this guide to help you make the most of the house and the surrounding area.

House Entry – Front Door and Garage
We do not have keys as we only use code locks and garage codes.
To operate the unlock to the front door enter the code 1969. It then opens electronically. To lock the door, after closing snugly, simply press the key with the lock icon. Again it locks the deadbolt electronically. Here is a video on how to operate the lock:

The garage is operated with a keypad next to the garage door. The keypad has a white cover on it. You will need to flip the cover up and then enter the code 1969 and the red up/down arrow. If it doesn’t work the first time you may need to try it again. Here is a video on how to operate garage.

Internet
The Wi-Fi network is called Serenity and the password is gratitude. You can use either the 2G or the 5G network. The difference is the 5G network is fastest but it has the shortest range.  The 2G is slightly slower but has greater range in the house.  The router is located in the cabinet in the hallway if you ever need to reboot it for some reason.

Pool
The pool is open year round but is only heated when overnight temperatures are 55F or higher.  The should be in the garage next to the pedestrian door. Here is a map showing location to the pool:

Fireplace
We have a nice gas fireplace for your use. Here is a video on how to light and operate it (note: the video is from our other townhouse in the same complex but it operates exact same way)

TV
We have internet enabled TV via a Roku box for your enjoyment.  The Roku box enables you to watch DirecTV Now, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, HBO Go and much more. Here is a video on how to operate the TV and the Roku.

Air Conditioning and Heating
The house has a central A/C and heating system.  The control for this is a white thermostat located in the hallway between the two bedrooms.  Move the switch to HEAT or COOL and then set the desired temperature. The large temperature display on left of screen is the current temperature. The smaller temperature on right is the desired temperature. 

BBQ
BBQ is located on the patio.  Barbecue is propane so no need to change out fuel tanks. Make sure to turn the gas valve off after use. Its the yellow knob on the gas line.

Hot Tub
It should be on when you arrive.  No need to shut it off. Here are some key rules:

1. Please make sure everyone showers or bathes before entering. This is very important as lotion, sunscreen, make-up, etc will make the water unsightly and unclean feeling for the next guest. We appreciate you observing this rule strictly.
2. Please make sure if you use it after 9pm that you are very quiet – no music or loud voices
3. Make sure to keep cover on hot tub when not in use
4. Make sure to cover hot tub when not in use.
5. Please note our Hot Tub service guy may come to change the chemicals during your stay during the morning or day – his name is Ken very friendly but he is not on a set schedule.

Trash Service
Excess garbage should be placed in the large black bin which is located in the small alcove just to the left of the front door.

Bin is picked up early Monday AM.

Below are full service markets that offer a wide range of food items including fresh fruit, vegetables, meats and prepared foods.  All are very close within 5 mins drive.

• Safeway 2300 W Hwy 89A, Sedona, AZ 86336. Open 5am – 11pm
• Natural Grocers 1915 W State Route 89A, Sedona, AZ 86336. Open 8am – 9pm except Sun close 7.30pm
• Bashas’ 160 Coffee Pot Dr., Sedona, AZ 86336. Open 6am – 11pm

Mail and Packages
You may see some packages delivered to the house during your stay. These are supplies for the house that we have delivered peridocially.  Please set inside garage near house entry door.

You are welcome to have packages delivered to the house as long as you make sure they arriving during your stay.  We cannot guarantee safe keeping if they are delivered outside your reservation window. You also have the option of having a package delivered to UPS store for pickup.

Check Out

1. Check out is 10:00 AM  sharp unless other arrangements have been made.
2. If you used the BBQ please burn and scrape with wire brush so it’s in good shape for the next guest
3. Please put all trash into the bin.
4. Please turn thermostat to off.
5. Please turn all lights off.
6. Cleaner’s very much appreciate it if you have time to strip the beds and just leave the sheets and pillowcases in a pile. 
7. If it’s easy and convenient for you, cleaners sure appreciate it if you start a load of towels. But just a suggestion.
