Welcome to the Sunrise House Chapel District Sedona!  We are truly grateful you have chosen our vacation home for your visit to Sedona so we have assembled this guide to help you make the most of the house and the surrounding area.

House Entry – Front Door and Garage
We do not have keys as we only use code locks and garage codes.  To operate the unlock to the front door enter the code 1969 and then turn the lock.  To lock the front door do the exact same thing after you close the door.  Here is a video on how to do operate the lock:

The garage is operated with a keypad next to the garage door. The keypad has a white cover on it do you will need to slide the cover up and then enter the code 1969 and the ENTER. If it doesn’t work the first time you may need to try it again. Here is a video on how to operate garage.

Internet
The Wi-Fi network is called Serenity and the password is gratitude. You can use either the 2G or the 5G network. The difference is the 5G network is fastest but it has the shortest range.  The 2G is slightly slower but has greater range in the house.  The router is located in the cabinet under the TV if you ever need to reboot it for some reason.
 
TV
We only have internet enabled TV via a Roku box attached to the back of the TV.  The Roku box enables you to watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, HBO Go and much more. Here is a video on how to operate the TV and the Roku:

Air Conditioning and Heating
The house has a central A/C and heating system.  The control for this is a white thermostat located in the hallway between the two bedrooms.  Move the switch to HEAT or COOL and then set the desired temperature. 

Hot Tub

We just had a new hot tub installed Spring 2020. Its sits 6 people and is a high quality Sundance model. A few key rules:

1. Please make sure everyone showers or bathes before entering. This is very important as lotion, sunscreen, make-up, etc will make the water unsightly and unclean feeling for the next guest. We appreciate you observing this rule strictly
2. Please make sure if you use it after 9pm that you are very quiet – no music or loud voices
3. Make sure to keep cover on hot tub when not in use
4. Please note our Hot Tub service guy may come to change the chemicals during your stay during the morning or day – his name is Ken very friendly but he is not on a set schedule.

Portable Air Conditioner
The “Arizona Room” next to the kitchen is not connected to the house A/C so it has it’s own cooling unit.  In mild weather the celing fan is enough to cool the room but if it becomes hot outside you can turn on the large plastic AC unit on the floor.  It is fairly powerful.  Here is a video on how to use.
 
BBQ
BBQ is located on the patio.  Here is a video on how to operate.  The fuel tank may run low or be out on occasion.  If this is the case jusy disconnect the tank and take it to the local Circle K store to exchange for a new one.  We will reimburse you promptly.

Fireplace
Here is a video on how to operate the electric fireplace. Make sure the white cord next to the fireplace is plugged in!

Garbage Service
Excess garbage should be placed in the large black bins. Don’t place the bins on the street we pay the local garbage company to take the bins in and out of the little fenced area.  IMPORTANT: Javelinas (similar to wild pigs) will get into the trash if the lids are not secured.

Below are full service markets that offer a wide range of food items including fresh fruit, vegetables, meats and prepared foods.  All are very close within 5 mins drive.

Mail and Packages
You may see some packages delivered to the house during your stay. These are supplies for the house that we have delivered peridocially since we do not live in Sedona.  Please set aside anywhere convenient or set inside garage.

You are welcome to have packages delivered to the house as long as you make sure they arriving during your stay.  We cannot guarantee safe keeping if they are delivered outside your reservation window.

 
Check Out

1. Check out is 10am sharp unless other arrangements have been made – (sorry so early we usually have new guests arriving same day)
2. If you used the BBQ please burn off any food bits you left behind on the grill surface and scrape with wire brush so its in good shape for the next guest.  Also, let us know if we owe you any money for propane exchange.
3. Please throw away all your trash and recycling into the trash bin in the garage
4. Please turn thermostat to off
5. Please turn all lights off
