Welcome to 34 Culebra Terrace
San Francisco, CA 94109

Thank you for booking with us at 34 Culebra Terrace.  We hope you thoroughly enjoy your stay here!

We have prepared this guide to make your arrival and stay as smooth as possible.

  1. Arrival and Check-in
Check-in time is anytime after 3pm. Unfortunately we do not have a place to store bags prior to check-in time.  If we do not have guests checking out the day you arrive, then early check-in is possible. Contact Carlos at 415 420 6290 or Jerry at 415 688 5799 to confirm availability.

We are located at 34 Culebra Terrace in San Francisco. When you reach the top of Chestnut street, Culebra Terrace will be on your right. There will be a private property sign to let you know you’re going the right way.  Go a few houses up, and 34 Culebra Terrace will be on your left.  It’s the second wooden shingle house with the blue (not green) garage door. The stairwell is past the garage door between the house and the pink building next to it. Walk up the stairs, and it’s the first door on your left.  It will say “34” on it, and the door will have a lockbox with a key in it. The lockbox combination is 159. The deadbolt should be the only thing locked, but if the door doesn’t open, try the lower lock too.

Here is a video on how to operate the lockbox:

To operate the lockbox select each number to 1 5 9 and then pull the down on the metal switch above the numbers. Start the process over again if you have any problems.  If you need any help at all, feel free to call Carlos at 415 420 6290.

  2. Parking
If you are arriving by car, park in any one of the empty spots on this street.  These spots are private parking spots and belong to the residents of Culebra Terrace. Please take the parking pass located on the dining table inside the apartment and place on the dash of your vehicle.

  3. The Apartment
Once inside the apartment, you should see two laminated cards and house keys on the dining room table. One of the laminated cards is the parking pass. Please put this on the dash of your car if you are using the parking.  The other laminated card is about the apartment and surrounding area. You will find the Wifi info as well as information about the nearest grocery stores and laundry facilities.

If you need extra sheets or blankets they are located behind the partition under the stairs.

  4. Sofa Bed
We upgraded the sofa bed to a Room and Board sleeper sofa as of Dec 2017. Here is a video on how to operate and inflate it.  It requires use of the electric pump which should be under the side table: https://youtu.be/2qsfN_MdiJg

  5. Trash/Recycling
The trash bins are located inside the garage so you won’t be able to access them.  You can leave at the top of the stairs in front of door #36.  The owners will throw away or the cleaners will after your stay.

  6. Heating and Cooling
You will see several space heaters around the apartment. Feel free to use these as much as you’d like but please do not move them to different locations.  The space heaters draw a lot of power, and they are all specifically placed to avoid a circuit breaker from tripping.  Moving the space heaters to different outlets will likely cause a power failure to the apartment as a whole.

There is no air conditioning in the apartment. Air conditioning is very rare in San Francisco as it normally does not get hot enough to require it. Feel free to open windows as much as you’d like.

  7. Check-out
Check-out time is 11am sharp. This is fairly strict as we usually have new guests coming in the same day you check-out, and the cleaning crew needs to start on time. It is very important to leave the parking pass inside the apartment. Also please replace the keys from the lockbox back inside the lockbox.
Thank you again for booking our apartment. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to call, text or email me!
